This album is shit. I'm telling you right up front, in case you don't want to read the full review to obtain the final verdict. I've listened to it now a few times on repeat and I honestly cannot tell when one song ends and the next one begins. It's a God damn salmagundi of off-beat breakdowns, boring guitar riffs and stale drumbeats that don't do much except keep the tempo of the song being played in focus. And irrevocably, the hands-down shittiest, sphincter-contracting vocals I've ever heard on a CD. Bring Me the Horizon's vocalist is worse than Anal Cunt's vocalist trying to sing cleanly and melodically. (Check out the Anal Cunt album "Picnic of Love" and you'll understand). And that's a very, very bad quality, considering the vocalist of Anal Cunt knows he suck balls, whereas the front man of Bring Me the Horizon is actually serious in his delivery.

Honestly, it's just poor musicianship no matter how hard the band members try to sound and look serious. I've heard a lot of garbage in my day (Trivium, Dragonforce), but I can honestly say that Bring Me the Horizon is close to the absolute worst band I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. I have nothing more to say about "Suicide Season". It sucks. Hard. I actually feel insulted having listened this album from start to finish. How about a little originality next time? I see Bring Me the Horizon heading down the path to the bargain bin at Dollarama next to those Hanson CD's I see everytime I go. That's when you know your ideas and so called 'creativity' ain't worth the shit stuck to a farmer's boot. Bring Me the Horizon could have made a good album, but instead followed the path which many other Hardcore bands have taken and have capitalized off modern trends instead of actually taking the time to structure their ideas.
